While on leave for the army in 1952, Chuck hauled in the first load of furniture for his dad. By 1960, he started working at the store doing the buying, selling, deliveries, and pickups. In the 1970s, he started in the rental business as well as working for the Bellaire fire department, staying in both for over 20 years. He also started selling trailers in Shadyside. For 25 years, Chuck played drums in the band the Jumping Jacks. He did all this while still running the store. He is the current owner of The Barn Furniture and still comes to the store every day at 90 years old. He graduated from Bellaire High School in 1948. He has 3 sons and 2 daughters.

Cameron is a 2019 graduate of Bellaire High School. He was in the marching band and drama club while at Bellaire High, and he was chosen to play in the OVAC band this year. He plans on going into the electrician trade. He has been working at The Barn during the summer part-time, helping to make deliveries and pickups. 

Rick is the Owner/Manager at The Barn Furniture. He started helping at the store when he was only 7 years old, then started working full-time after graduating from Bellaire High school in 1981. His duties include buying, selling, making deliveries, picking up furniture and appraising. He has 50 years of total experience. Rick enjoys meeting new customers every day, and he is committed to getting the best deals he can to pass the savings on to the customer. He doesn’t like to see the customer going elsewhere, having to finance the purchase, and paying double or triple the price. At the end of the day, he likes relaxing and getting some exercise in. He has 3 boys who all have helped at the store during their summers. 

Kevin is a 1980 graduate of Bellaire High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army for two years. After his time in the Army, he enlisted in the Navy and served for two years. During his time in the Navy, he got married and returned to the Ohio Valley in 1984. In his early teens, he became interested in music and started to DJ. Kevin started working at The Barn Furniture in 1996 but three years later, left to pursue other interests. He returned to work at The Barn in 2018. He resides in Bellaire, Ohio with his wife Lori. He duties at The Barn are sales, deliveries and pickups.

Founder of The Barn Furniture, Brooklyn Ross was born in 1902 in Bellaire, Ohio. He worked at Imperial Glass for about 40 years until he opened The Barn Furniture. He enjoyed going to auctions and estate sales to buy pictures and Imperial glassware. He loved traveling and going out to eat. Living next to the store, he would come over several times a night after closing time just to check that everything was okay. He had two sons, Richard and Charles B. He passed away in 1997.
